First and foremost I would like to emphasize my admiration of video games as a whole, but also my constant and growing gratitude for the quality of the graphics continuously provided to us by the countless gaming companies. As gamers it is often hard to see the "tech" side of a video game- the many hours and excruciating pain dedicated by computer programmers and graphic designers to ensure we get a smooth and enjoyable gaming experience; that is to say that without those "geeks", which I would rather call masters at work, we wouldn't be where we are today.In other words, I am a dedicated gamer, constantly trying to seek new virtual thrills, but I am always greatful and very aware of the time and effort behind the beauty I witness.Thus, I would like to give a big thumbs up to all those who have contributed to our awesome gaming experience. Secondly, I would like to thank all those who have worked hard to create great compilations and montages. Enjoying a game in the living room is one thing, but making sure the online community gets to witness it's beauty, is time consuming and in many cases very hard to produce.Thus, I would like to express my gratitude to all the video producers that have worked long and hard to create quality videos for the entire gaming community.
Finally, where would we be without dedicated gamers, such as myself ? What many people would describe as a waste of time is for us a substantial part of our daily lives. Some of us do it as a hobby to burn time, others do it because they have fallen in love and it has now become a passion, but we all have something in common; we truly enjoy it and we cannot wait to see what's new. How it works:
For each genre of game, I will publish the top 5 video game montages that I have found on the web. At this point it is important for me to mention that the videos include only gameplay montages (no trailers). The criteria I will use to rank the videos will be as follows:
1.Montage (transitions and overall movie quality)
2.Sound (music and sound effects)
3.Gameplay ownage
Should you think there are better videos out there, you are welcome to post (within the relevant page), and I will update the ranking, I promise to be as honest as possible. Should your post be irrelevant or fail to meet my expectations, it will simply be deleted; don't get offended, this is the structure of the blog.
